Afghanistan Lost

A series of colorful photographs taken in the mid to late 1950's in Afghanistan by anthropologist, Professor Schuyler Jones of Oxford University. During this period, life was good and prosperous for the people of Afghanistan. This was a period of peace, advancement and development. Today, after nearly 25 years of war and destruction, many of the buildings and scenes seen in these photographs no longer exist. Neff Hall, 1st floor hallway gallery, open 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
